The adult nasal cannula with oxygen tubing minimizes the risk of tissue damage to sensitive skin areas such as the nasal passages and ears. Worn over the ears, the soft and elastic nature of these adult nasal cannulas helps prevent skin damage. The adult nasal cannulas with oxygen tubing gives oxygen to you with comfort minus the extra padding, to prevent ear ulceration.
The adult nasal cannula is free of DEHP and latex PVCs, providing safer and better usage. DEHP and latex PVC is rougher on skin and more likely to cause allergic reactions in patients with sensitivity to certain rubber and plastic compounds. Worn over the ears, this nasal cannula requires no additional padding owing to its soft and elastic finish.
The adult nasal cannula with oxygen tubing is ideal for use with a Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC). The 2.1m length is the most suitable for use with a POC as the length is suited to the smaller motor of these units, while still being long enough to provide freedom of movement without potentially tripping over the tubing which can sometimes happen with the longer lengths.
For in-home concentrators it is recommended that you use oxygen tubing and a nasal cannula with male connector. The male connector fits into the end of the oxygen tubing
