These is a low carbon steel filler rod suitable for the fusion welding of the mild and low carbon steels and wrought irons. It is designed to deposit ductile weld metal of the using oxy-acetylene welding without using fluxing agents. POWERWELD MILD STEEL is not suitable for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) for butt and fillet welding applicatins with the rod adjust flame to a neutral or slightly reducing setting for optimum results.
