POWERTIG 308L is a low carbon, nominal 19Cr / 10Ni stainless steel filler rod recommended for gas tungsten arc (TIG) and oxy-acetylene welding of 304 and 304L stainless steel. POWERTIG 308L is used predominantly with the TIG process, however, oxy-acetylene welding can be used for general purpose welding of other 300 series stabilised and nonn-stabilised stainless steels.

POWERTIG 316L is a low carbonm nominal 19Cr / 12Ni / 2.5Mo stainless steel filler rod recommended for gas tungsten arc (TIG) or oxy-acetylene welding of 316 and 316L stainless steels. POWERTIG 316L can also be used for general purpose welding of common 300 series stainless steels such as 302, 304 and 304L, as well as ferritic stainless alloys such as 409, 444 and 3 Cr 12.
